Camping at Lake Cumberland

Our first camping trip of the '07 year took place April 30th-May 2nd. We had planned on spending a couple of nights at Connley Bottom campground, but after seeing it decided we liked Fall Creek campground much better. Fall Creek campground is small (only 10 sites) but very clean and in a GREAT location (right on the lake). The kids loved the views, the playground, and the rocks, but mostly what we all liked was just being together. If you are going to be a camper you must be prepared for some heat (tents aren't air conditioned), a little dirt (it won't kill you), and a few bugs (MOST won't kill you), but it is all worth it for the memories your family can all share. We wouldn't change a thing, ...well a few less bugs wouldn't hurt.
