Spring '09

I didn't realize how long it had been since I had blogged on here, sorry about that! I (Ed) have transfered to a different job and have had to work nightshift for the last 3 months. Hopefully though that is all about to change. With my new location, my day's off have been fewer and farther between so the ones that we have are very precious. Besides the normal things like work and school, Katie is now on a competive gymnastics team and Nathan is playing baseball. We are really proud of both of them, Katie is one of the youngest to make the team and Nathan is turning into a really good player. We do get to have some fun every once in a while. A couple of weeks ago we went with a group of friends to pick strawberries and wound up picking nearly 40 pounds worth! Karen made 24 jars of jam and cut the rest up to eat later. Our kids LOVE strawberries and they were eating more off the vine than they were picking. The last few days have been momentous because Katie has learned to ride her bike without training wheels! She is getting to big too fast. We have just finished VBS for the year and our preparing for our mission trip and vacation in July, more on that later. Here are a couple of picks, enjoy!
