Karen and I decided that this week we needed to get busy on our Kentucky Department of Tourism "Quest". The questions for today's quest were: The home of Cassius M. Clay and the home of the first woman nominated for president by a major political party, name the house and the woman. The house is Whitehall (near Richmond) and the woman is Laura Clay. For a bonus we had to have our picture taken beside a tree that Mr. Clay allegedly brought back from Russia while he was ambassador there. Here is the tree, just for your records it's a European Lurch tree. I was impressed.
