This weekend (April 24th and 25th), Karen got to go to a scrapbook retreat with Carrie Crouch. It is a great thing and it left lots of time for me and the kids to "hang" together. Friday we took in some Culver's (ice cream and burgers) and a quick social trip to "Coopa's House" (Cooper Crouch). Saturday I packed up the kids for a day on the road. I wasn't quite sure where the day would lead, but it took us to Lincoln's Birthplace (again) and to Freeman park in E-Town. We loved the sun, we loved the McDonalds, and I think the kids loved figuring out that with the help of some fast food resturants, old dad just might not let them starve.
