On February 12, 1809 in a little cabin in Hodgenville Kentucky Abraham Lincoln was born. On February 12, 2009 the Stotts barged in! Karen and I decided to take the kids to Lincoln's birthplace for the celebration of his 200th birthday. It was a spur of the moment decision and we wish we would have planned better because there was a TON of stuff to do. There was a wreath laying ceremony, the unveiling of the new penny, speeches and parties. Unfortunately all we got was some birthday cake (but really that's the best part anyway).
